	Boğaziçi: The nearby village of Boğaziçi is 10 minutes drive from Turquoise resort and holds an important place in history as the site of the ancient city of Bargilia. After exploring the unspolit stone village, a swim in the clear blue water is perfect. Small fishing boats come and go throughout the day delivering their catch to restaurants on the shore where you can dine and relax overlooking the glittering Mandalya Bay.
	Guvercinlik: is about 15 minutes from Turquoise on the road into Bodrum, could be typical of the sleepy villages scattering the peninsula. However, as each of them have their own unique atmosphere and landscape, a visit is not to be missed. Nestled in a vast sweeping bay embraced by untouched mountains, head to Guvercinlik for the Monday market or to watch the sun set from one of the waterfront restaurants. The view from here is truly priceless.
	Yalikavak: This popular village offers some excellent seafood restaurants close to the harbour where you can enjoy a wide variety of fish dishes. Yalikavak is offers a more peaceful surrounding, yet has plenty to see and do. The new marina features a shopping mall, amphitheatre, beach club, sailing school and clinic.
	Turgutreis: This modern town is named after the legendary turkish sailor Turgut Reis and is well known for its Saturday market and bazaar. Turgutreis is popular for its beaches and impressive marina which opened in 2002 featuring shops, cafes, bank and supermarket.
	Gumusluk: Historically known as the ancient city of Myndos, Gumusluk is a fishing village having a selection of seafood restaurants and breathtaking views.
	Gundogan: Although Gundogan is becoming popular with foreigners, this small town retains it’s traditional charm and is mainly resident to locals.
	Torba: A pretty village with a picturesque mountain backdrop, Torba has a peaceful atmosphere with a few restaurants and a small pebble beach. Torba is north of the peninsula.
	Gumbet: The resort of Gumbet is located in the next bay along from Bodrum and has one of the longest beaches on the peninsula. A wide range of water sports are available here and the beach front is lined with shops, cafes and bars. At night time Gumbet comes alive with the buzzing atmosphere of Bar Street which runs from the centre of town down to the beach and there are many bars, tavernas, cafes and nightclubs to choose from.
	Gulluk: Gulluk is a picturesque bay and traditionally a fishing village. You will find watersports, stunning views and a good choice of cafes and restaurants.
	Golturkbuku: Two villages, Golkoy and Turkbuku, merged to form the exclusive Golturkbuku, attracting the rich and famous with it’s trendy cafes, bars, restaurants and jetty style beach clubs. Golturkbuku, located north of the peninsula, is a stunning destination where the sea is calm and the view of sunrise and sunset is truly magnificent.
	Bitez: Bitez is a great place for those who want to chill out in a relaxing atmosphere and the breeze makes sailing and windsurfing popular here. There are many restaurants offering a wide variety of cuisine, and with its shallow water Bitez is perfect for a family day trip.
